Our fallen

First and foremost it is important for us as Americans to grief over the 31 service members who lost their life fighting for something that is bigger than all of us! My hats off to the Navy Seals, interpretors, and others who were lost.  I see the bodies coming back everyday but we also cannot forget the thousands, yes thousands of us men and women who have fallen before them.  Granted you wont see the President at everyone of the dignified transfers but I can say each fallen service member is recieved at Dover AFB with dignity, respect, and gratitude.  I am glad the media was not here at Dover today. I hold a special place in my heart for all these fine service men and women, not just because I am a veteran but because I am an American. This war has efffected every state, every part of this country, and everyone of us.  I get irritated when our values, and our way of life get questioned by the elected officals who think we as the military are indepensable.   We owe a lot to our military folks!  They fight the tough battles so we as Americans can have our freedom.  I am not going to rant and rave on this but the one thing I guess I am trying to say is remember them all. Remember the folks who are in harms way everyday doing their jobs either at Dover or in Afganistan.  May God Bless our military!
