The House is mine!

Well it’s final.  After months of ass pain and threats of losing my home the house is mine all mine and my ex-wife cannot get another dime out of it! Sure I had to refinance to get her off my mortgage and pay her a percentage of the equity but it was worth it and I am glad it is over. Never again will I have to hear it is half mine!  Refinancing was a pain in the butt.  I had to pay for a termite test, had to pay for a new water system, had to pay closing cost, lawyer fees this and that, it was crazy.  I had a friend of mine tell me it was like I liked my house so much I bought it twice! Now comes the fun part.  I have pretty much redone the inside with the exception of a couple of rooms but it is almost done.  Now I can relax and finally enjoy it.   The pool is almost open and let the games begin.  The house is finally turning into a home.  Cannot say it was like that in the past, but it is turning out to be a home.  My home.  Now I have to stop payment on one loan and start up another one.  I have to get rid of ants outside but they have to live somewhere and it is better outside then in!  I think anyone who buys a home or refinances should be required to watch the movie “the money pit” owning a home it is expensive but like a divorce it is worth it.  LOL.  I will celebrate my new mortgage by painting, reorganizing, and writing a blog when I get the chance.  I never knew it would be so much fun to go to Lowes on a daily basis.  I think they should name a wing after me with all the money I put into it.  I have moved the man cave inside where it is comfortable and not in the garage. Don’t worry it looks like a home and not a complete bachelor pad.  Yes life is good.  I am the king and this is my castle.  I will not Christian it like they do ships in the Navy, why?  Because that would be something else I would have to clean up!  Until Next time!
