First Congratulations to the Boston Bruins for winning the Stanley Cup. I follow Hockey for sure. I had to ask what a Canuck was. First time in a long time I heard (1972)! What I do not get or understand is the celebrations. I was watching the news today and it showed a bunch of fans burning a vehicle, riot police out and mobs forming walking around the stadium. If the mob was on camera, maybe the cops can identify some folks and make them pay for the damage. I bet that would stop some of this nonsense. I mean I know it is cold in Boston but it is summer, and there is no need for that. My question is this. What the heck does it prove? I mean go celebrate have a good time but why trash someone else’s stuff? You would have thought Boston would have beaten the New York Yankees again. If the Redskins won the super bowl LOL I would certainly be celebrating, drinking maybe another beer or five but I would not trash anyone’s property. I think fans want to find a reason to burn or trash something. I wonder if alcohol was involved. LOL! Thank God the trophy did not end up in Philadelphia. Not hating Philly but their fans are the worse in the league (both Hockey and Football). I know most fans are the same people. Think of the Old Veterans stadium. They had a judge, court, and jail in the basement. I mean come on who boos Santa Clause? Anyway, these celebrations are getting out of hand. I know I pick on NASCAR fans but you never see them burning anything when their favorite driver wins the championship. Can you imagine what it would look like after the Masters in Golf? I guess you would have to wake up every one first. Almost as bad as watching a cricket match. Come on fans, grow up celebrate. If your team wins you deserve to celebrate but if you want to burn something or trash anything, use your own stuff. Until Next time!
